Colleen has worked in several nursing specialties including emergency medicine, cardiac care and perioperative services before becoming a full-time nurse writer. Colleen is also a military spouse and mother who enjoys traveling and exploring new places with her family.

Learning is an adaptive process. Some things will come to you easier than others, but persevere and never give up because strength comes through challenges.
